I have heard a number of teachers recently mention that today’s students are “different” than those they have had in the past. It made me wonder what those differences might be and how we can best teach this new generation of students. Students who make up Generation Z, or also referred to as Millennials, were born between the mid 1990s and the early 2000s. In doing some research on this generation of students, I came across a list of Ten Characteristics of Generation Z Learners (Clark, 2017). I put the list into an info graphic that I think will be helpful as you design learning experiences for Generation Z learners.
